We believe that Singing
(acapella) (Eph. 5:19, Col 3:16), Prayer
(Eph 6:18), and Giving
are all part of worship (I Cor.16:2).
Of course, prayer and giving
is not limited to just the services. The Bible teaches us
that prayer
is very important in our lives. It gives those who have been
added to the Church the ability to request and receive blessings.
Through prayer we can make known our needs (Phil 4:6). The
Bible teaches us that giving
of our means is an expression of faith and love for our Lord
and His work.
( I Cor. 16:2).
We believe and observe the
example of taking of the Lord’s
Supper each first day of the week. (Acts 20:7).
We believe all scripture is the inspired word of God. It is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16). We believe members
of the congregation should submit names of men (only) they
believe qualify for the position of Deacon
(I Tim. 3:10,13) and Elder
(bishop, presbytery)(I Tim. 3:1).
