Gospel Meetings
Gospel Meetings are intended to exhort and uplift the congregation and to help spread the gospel to those around us.
2 Tim 4:2 KJV
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”
We hold Gospel Meetings to promote fellowship between us and sister congregations; to encourage a closer walk with our Lord. Members are encouraged to invite friends, relatives and others to hear the Word of God preached.
1 John 1:6-7 KJV and 1 Corinthians 1:21 KJV
“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (1 John 1:6-7 KJV)
“ For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” (1 Corinthians 1:21 KJV)
Guest speakers are invited from various sister congregations to present lessons on specific Biblical topics to promote spiritual growth. It is our goal through these meetings to grow spiritually not only within the congregation but with other fellow Christians that we may all be of one mind in Christ.
