We Welcome You

We want to welcome you to our website! It is our hope and prayer that it helps you to understand who we are and persuades you to visit with us.

First and foremost, we are a congregation that is always striving to grow in the knowledge of the Lord. We use the Bible (and only the Bible) as our guide for worshiping our Heavenly Father, as well as, being the Christian example to everyone we come in contact with in our daily lives. We desire:

• to train our hearts to be pure and holy and subject to God’s inspired word.
  
  
• to grow to be Christ like in all ways.
  
  
• to “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matt 6:19-21 KJV)
  
  
• to put God first, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matt 6:33 KJV)
  
  
• to be of one mind, “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” (1Cor 1:10 KJV) “Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.” (Phil 2:2 KJV) “Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Rom 15:5-6 KJV)

We gather every Sunday morning for Bible study at 10:00 AM. Our studies are Bible based and scripturally supported (book, chapter and verse).“If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (1Pet 4:11 KJV)

We gather for Worship Sunday morning at 11:00 AM, and again Sunday evening at 5:00 PM. Our Worship services consist of acapella singing, prayers, a sermon, the Lord’s Supper, giving, and an opportunity to respond to the Gospel invitation is offered. We also gather for a mid-week Bible study on Wednesday evenings starting at 7:00 PM.

The King James and the New King James Versions are the only two versions that are used for teaching and preaching. In so doing, you can expect consistency from the pulpit and Bible classes.
